Vision-guided robot cell A robot arm at the center of a work cell. The tool on its flange and the part in front of it change as the process changes between welding, grinding, blasting and coating. A camera sits on the wrist. GEOMETRY UNKNOWN GEOMETRY RECONSTRUCTED ✓

The end of
robot programming

70% of European manufacturing is still done by hand.
Programming a robot for small batches has never been economical.

Challenge

Automation stops where the batch gets small

Reprogramming a robot for one new part variant takes 1–4 hours of a specialist’s time. Typical batch sizes in high-mix, low-volume manufacturing are 1–100 pieces. Traditional automation would never pay for itself.

1–4 hof specialist time to reprogram a robot for one new part variant
€120/his what that specialist costs, before a single part is made
1–100pieces in a typical high-mix, low-volume batch. The run ends before setup pays off

So the work stays manual. The hardware was never the bottleneck. Somebody has to tell the robot what to do, every single time, and that one requirement keeps most of European manufacturing off automation altogether.

What we’re building

A robot that has never seen the batch, and doesn’t need to be told

Not through rigid programming, and not by human demonstration. Four problems have to be solved at once, and none of them is solved by a bigger model or a humanoid.

01

Perception without preparation

A new part shows up. Nobody has taught it, scanned it or modeled it. Nobody has the hours to.

02

The process, not the path

Moving an arm from A to B is solved. What the tool does to the material is the half customers pay for.

03

Generalization is the magic

Processing a part it was trained on is a demo. Processing a part the system has never seen or been trained on is the product.

04

Model meets reality

All of it can hold up in simulation. Making it run 24/7 in a real factory is the hard part.

The team

7 people who have put robots in front of customers before

One exit, three Magazino veterans and a PhD in motion planning. Roughly 50 years of robotics experience in the room. Nobody here is doing this for the first time.

Open roles

Physical AI that ships to real factory floors

No wrapper apps. No papers that sit on a shelf. The AI you build here runs on a machine that a shift worker switches on tomorrow morning.
